So I recently just started playing SoT at the beginning of July this year. And I love the tall tales. There isn't much pirate related media anymore but a movie came out called The Sea Beast and I was wondering if it would be possible to make a Tall Tale related to the movie.
New Tall Tale?
It’s not impossible, but very unlikely. Rare would need permission and likely have to pay a lot to license The Sea Beast. Even then, there would probably be strict limits on which characters or story elements could be used, and even tighter restrictions on how they could be incorporated into Sea of Thieves. Plus, mixing the IP into the game might not fit well together

Season 16 podcast, 20:40 mark. Mark says they have no plans for future tall tales, which is unfortunate in my opinion.

That could be said about anything. Currently, all we have to go on is what he said regarding their future, and I'm choosing to believe what Mike said.

It's also incredibly unfortunate, as I'd love to see a tall tale of Flameheart's return, and how the Pirate Lord plans to deal with this. But, he continues to hide, his son's body is still left out to rot, and we wait with the only tidbit that no tall tales are planned.

Sadly no. No foreseeable tall tales in the future. I was so bummed when I heard that.
