How about having pouches for bigger inventorys which is like on the left or right side of our leg and maybe costs about 5k the first one 10k the second 20k the third and so on and on so we have more things to spend it on and it would make it easier for the ones that gather stuff and get unlucky with chests
Pouches for so you can carry more stuff ?
@babybardo As many after me will say, it will reward more experienced players and give them an advantage.
@elweymisterioso So just because you can't hold 6 planks you won't play? No. If there is any way for a player to make their inventory bigger would be pay to win, as they could hold more than 5 blunderbombs and spam them to kill other players.
And everybody would have a advantage but that is how the game goes
Longer players = more expierence what means with cannons and so much more
Shorter players = less experience and less skills on the cannons
No pay to win cause you can only do it with normal gold or XP which you can farm and not with the other credits you gotta buy
@babybardo Once you get blunderbomb spammed will you understand what I mean.
Still no to the 'pouches' as it is still Pay to Win.
@BabyBardo You're wrong, my friend. So, so wrong.
This game uses horizontal progression for a reason. What you're suggesting is vertical progression - the exact opposite of what this game was built upon. What you're suggesting would completely upend the game, and ultimately, ruin it.
@babybardo said in Pouches for so you can carry more stuff ?:
Do they not already have some ?
Like they got more aim and skill so why not even put that in it makes no difference experienced players are better than beginners anyway so would make it no difference I guessyes your right they're already better
buuut this idea would make them not just better players but a nightmare for new players
i personally wouldn't mind carrying 50 cannonballs shooting a sloop with 2 new players who has no idea how to defend themselves while they can only carry 10 because they don't have money (sarcasm)
no i will be honest new players has a huge challenge ahead of them already facing new pve threats they never fought before
other players ranging from friendly to noobs to good players veterans and god players
this idea would just kill the chances for new players to actually get into the game
while i strongly stand for that new players needs to learn to pvp but i don't think anyone should have to pay gold to have the upper hand

XP? What is this XP of which you speak?
The whole Idea of the game is, nothing you can buy will give you an advantage. It's all cosmetic. but if you can carry 10 pineapples and 10 blunderbombs, that is definitely an advantage.
@babybardo XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD
THAT'S SKILL.
It's not an unfair advantage. If they are truly better, then that isn't an advantage. Having more money and being able to use it on upgrades is an unfair advantage. Gives them an advantage because a starting player doesn't get much to work with. They have to learn about the game to get better.@babybardo The only advantage older players have is the skills we have learned. There is no other types of advantages.
The devs wanted it that way, so that everyone is on a level playing field@babybardo said in Pouches for so you can carry more stuff ?:
The field is already ruined cause of the pros that are out there but if you go in a alliance there it would be helpful to pick up more stuff if you leave your ship and go with your comrades to help them repair
Or just take a storage crate with you.
@babybardo all pirates are equals... the idea behind that is that you cannot purchase upgrades and a new or old pirate have the same tools available, it is experience, skill, decision making and talent that decide who is the better pirate.
Everyone is equal but if they put in into the game it would be a lot more challenging cause many people use the "group" mechanic with the alliance and even new players
So yeah really bringing would it be cause new stuff to spend money on but yeah ofc. it would be a nightmare for new players but what player loves a normal RPG or MMO or something like that when it is not challenging at all
A challenge is what players keep on trying till they reach the end!
When I started I got the same thing
I went out of a outpost and got destroyed by EVERY player I saw
That is why I don't give anything on if they have a advantage cause everyone has to go through there and having a luck situation is making your rewarding more and you keep on playing till you get unlucky that is why I sended this idea into the suggestions forum
