@musicmee I'll keep whaling on about it if I want! You know we can't kelp it! 😅
Fortnite has gone pirate
D&D has gone pirate too! Everyone is going pirate (again, pirates never get old)
@fakegnu-maycry Pirate theme is a really under utilized genre. I really don't understand why there aren't way more. I've been wanting a good pirate game for so long. It's the main reason I latched onto this game.
@fakegnu-maycry Nothing new there - tabletop roleplayers have played pirates for years! Just ask my brother; he's as hardcore as they get!
@betsill , may i suggest retrogaming? Monkey Island series will keep you busy while waiting for March update.. as you're right, SoT is the only good pirate game out there..
@Galactic-Geek , yeah, i know matey, i roleplay too. But timing (released 5th edition just now, and they suddenly came up with a new rulebook that's specifically written for naval warfare and piracy), and design (have you seen the cover of the rulebook? Kraken there, like a screenshot from SoT..) let me think they're exploiting the actual trend...
@xxxpirate01 lol chill kid, fortnite hasnt broken any copyright laws. they are allowed to make their own pirate themed season. idk what your problem with fortnite is anyways. there are other games that have pirates in them. should we tell of rare for making a pirate game after assassins creed black flag. no lol they are completely different games just like fortnite is lol. one is a battle royale and one is not. in fortnite you dont do anything like a pirate you just have the option to look like one and shoot a cannon thats all
@xxxpirate01 they also put in treasure maps and a chest that looks suspiciously just like the ones in sot oh and the chest gets dug up in the exact same animation. epic games needs to just stop and stay original if they want to save any kind of face for when their game eventually slows down.
@galactic-geek
That’s called what Star Wars did to Star Trek it copied the spacey theme and ships and aliens and made it 1000000 times better
