Do not care about double guns .. I've never used it, sword + blunderbuss was totally fine, even against players who were playing with maccro, or against cheaters.
The new balancing makes each weapon have a specific purpose that force people to use them in the manner they were designed. Sword + Blunderbuss are just as effective, if not more so than before. In fact, the improvements to the sword make it more viable than ever.
I'm just sick and tired about casuals, their poor way of thinking, and the decisions the devs are making since day one.
SoT is a casual, sandbox game, not sure why you would think the dev's wouldn't cater their casual, sandbox game towards the vast majority of their player base.
Spliting communities should revive their game? really? ..
We have no idea what impact the Opt Out option will have. Rare has said they studied the information that only they have, and they do not see this as causing a problem. Joe Neate confirmed that 35% of the player base is PC based. That is much higher than most thought.
In which seas are you playing? The servers (majority of the time), are empty.
I have not been on an empty server in months. I really don't understand why people keep saying that. Now sometimes you are on servers where most everyone wants to do the PvE, so they avoid other ships, but that is the players choice.
At the end they take decisions FOR a certain part of their community, and that's a shame, because the other has to leave because we tell that she's not welcomed anymore, or won't be missed blahblah. I thought it was a PIRATE game ... not a PVE game ..
The game is a PvEvP game, a mix of PvE and PvP. It is an open sandbox for everyone to enjoy. And a lot of people really enjoy the PvE. Me, I enjoy both. But I don't enter the game looking to go out attacking everyone I see. In fact, Joe Neate said that when they were in development, they did NOT want a game where all you do is log in and go out trying to kill everyone.
The heart of the game lives in creating it's own experience, not forcing the players into ONE direction, the easy way, the soft way.
Not sure why you feel anyone is forced to play one way or another. Sounds like you prefer to PvP than anything else in game, I could of course be wrong. But fact is, this is an open sandbox and you can play how you like. Just remember, there are plenty of others that don't want to play the way you want them to. And that is ok too.
If you want to keep your treasure, be sure to know how to do it, that's it.
OK, but the balancing had nothing to do with this. It had to do with the fact that the weapons themselves were not being used as designed. Hip firing an EoR with deadly accuracy is simply stupid. It is a sniper rifle, not a shotgun.
We do not ASK so much things.
Seems you are asking everyone to play your way only.
Because, the game is not about thieves anymore, you can't deny that.
Sure it is, nothing about that changed. Just rebalancing the game mechanics so that they work as intended. As for the separating player base thing. That is blown way out of proportion as most have said, they won't use the opt out option. Some will, but most have friends across platforms and want to play with them. And most that play on console, don't want to play on KB/M. They bought a console instead of a PC.
