Sloop brig should work

    I think the brig on a sloop should work. one time I was playing in an open crew and this after we had gathered alot of treasure the guy thought it would be funny to mess with my by staying on the wheel and not taking us anywhere, otherwise he would drop the anchor when I was on the wheel. I couldnt do anything, and I still dont know any way I could have prevented him from doing what he was doing. I dont see why the brigs sloop doesnt work

    I can see it now, people will join open crew sloops and just immediately brig. bad idea sorry. that is what the leave game option is for.

    @d4m0r3d I'd put money on that if the brig had been available, the trouble maker would have thrown you in there long before they started messing with the wheel/anchor. It doesn't work on the sloop because it requires a majority vote.

    Beyond reporting such players for their behavior, it's very difficult to suggest a solution in a game of this nature that wouldn't also be used in an abusive way.

    if you could make it so the captain of the ship or the original player on the ship had the power to brig people I think that would be great.

    open crews are a risk. honestly, you should utilize the sot discord to find a good crew. lots of people there looking for crews
