Can we tone down the volcanoes? They reach so far out, and they erupt way too often. had volcanoes erupt 3 times in a really short amount of time.

I would wholeheartedly agree. I think the volcanoes should erupt often, because the erupting volcanoes is what brings the personality of Devils Ridge. I dont think that they should erupt as often as they do now, because then it just gets rediculous. It is very tedious when doing voyages because some voyages require more time at a specific island, and we usually have to wait until the eruption stops to continue the voyage. The eruptions last for a good amount of time, which exponentially increases the time taken to complete any sort of voyage. I feel like a volcano shouldnt erupt more than once while completing a voyage at an island. I think that if the volcanoes erupted slightly less frequently, and lasted slightly less long, then the volcanoes would be golden.
@sot-peglegpete I personally am fine with the eruption frequency of volcanoes, don’t know why it’s a problem!

I had two parts of a gold hoarders quest to complete on ‘Ruby’s Fall’ and the volcano would not stop erupting.. whilst trying to get back to my boat I died from lava hitting me, so I waited my time on the ferry and respawned but within seconds from respawn another lava ball hit me and there I was back on that damned ferry only to find once I had spawned for another time my ship had sunk with all my loot included.
I have heard this story way to often.

Search on internet for an approximation for distance of volcanic eruption and after that we can talk.
It do not need to be realistic, but it is very short distance compared to reality.And for the frequency, try to let it rest a bit before returning on it.
More activity near it mean more chance to awake it !!agree the new zone needs some balancing, i timed the erutpion on my stop watch and on the island i was on it was every 2Minutes 38Seconts kinda weird, another thing that seems broken to me is the range of the vulcanos we were dock at a small island and somehow got hit from island next to us and our ship got sunk because we did not even noticed the hit since we thought we are far enough hell you could not even hear the damm volcano going off. Just fix the range and the damn timing and its gonna be good maybe do something about the row boats the controls kinda suck on pc idk about xbox + they are useless since they dont survive even one hit from vulcano anyway so i don't see the point why should we use them. Oh and if you are solo stay away from this dlc you are F its not for you
