I wouldn’t mind seeing life preservers added. It could literally be a piece of driftwood tied to a rope. That way we could reel in our overboard crewmates.
Also do all pirates have 20/20 vision or just 20 vision in their good eye? I’ve noticed no pirates wear spectacles I think we need this cosmetic. Before so hum dum comes & says durrr durrr dur. If we can have scopes on our rifles, then glasses shouldn’t be seen as out of place or immersion breaking.
@admiral-greyjoy I want face/ body paint too. There are already art and NPC assets in the game with it. Glasses and paint!
Life preserver or line of some sort would be cool too.

I'm always in support of new cosmetics whether big or small. Personally I'm looking forward to collecting more scars as I rock my pirate shirtless, with some tattoos, and scars.
A life preserver would be interesting. However, and I'm just spit balling here, are they 100% necessary due to the mermaids? I suppose it would be nice to launch a preserver toward a crew mate to help them get back on the ship a little faster but call me cynical I almost feel like waiting for the mermaid should be the penalty for falling off in the first place.
I'm not saying that I wouldn't be in support of a preserver; I just don't see it being a thing with the mermaids being in the game and how THEY'RE supposedly the ones that help lost sailors back to their ships.
