Spawn roulette appears to be getting worse.

    We played a session last night where (I think) every crew member spawned at some random location at one point or an other of the game.

    One of our crew even spawned from one mermaid to another mermaid.
    I have spawned at an island half the ocean away from the island I was killed on where our ship was parked. I took the mermaid right back to that very same random island.
    Myself and others have spawned on a different ship.
    Some people spawn directly into the brig.

    This bug could mean the difference of winning or losing a ship battle, a skull fort, whatever.

    I had this happen once and just thought it was a fluke. I didn't realize it's ongoing. Certainly a make or break bug for a crew in combat.

    @admiral-rrrsole I've seen video of this and have honestly never had it happen to me (yet). the loading screens are torture in this game. I'd hate to have to keep going through them to see where it decides to put me next.

    This happened to my crew mate recently where he spawned on some random outpost that another ship happened to be headed to. Needless to say, that guy didn't know what hit him. Pretty unlucky.

    Spawning in the brig seems to have something to do with rapidly leaving and rejoining (or failing to join and rejoining) not sure if it's a glitch or intended to stop people trying to circumvent certain things by leaving and rejoining

    @uhndeth A friend of mine who I've sailed with on several occasions spawned in the brig upon starting the game. Later on in the session he was spawned in the brig again.
    It only happened to him as if he was cursed. lol

    @admiral-rrrsole I've had a couple of strange spawns recently, not sure quite whether it's deliberate or a quirk.

    I'm sure you've also sent something over via Support for this so, it will be interesting to see whether this has become a more commonplace occurrence from the comments in the thread.

    @katttruewalker To be honest, no I haven't as yet as I thought it was common knowledge due to others I've payed with sharing their random spawn experiences.

    I'll get onto it now. :o)

    Harrr, always a good idea to send out a report! If you’re unsure of the fact whether it’s common knowledge or not, the support page be the best place to find that out. Most known issues will pop up there if you search for em.

    That being said, my crewmate has had it happen a few times and I thought it might just be a random occurance. Clearly it isn’t. I’ll keep an eye out and report something as well if it happens again.

    You could always upload it to YouTube and set the video to unlisted. That way only people with a link can view it.

    I had already uploaded it to https://streamable.com/ some time ago and was going to provide the link but the search feature there was unable to find it. :/

    Then I thought the support ticket page was broken because it just sat there doing nothing forever before it explained the 20MB limit. So I just tried the send button again and it moved me on to the next page.
