Two nights in a row me and my three crewmates have been sunk by crews that dont seem to die. Can't be blocked and swing thier cutlass twice as fast. Get an anti cheat for your game. They are ruining a game that has the potential to be great

there are confirmed hacks for aimbot and wall hacks, but none of what you mentioned is remotely provable or available. edit: however in line with new info, there is a possibility new hacks are underway, so its possible that now your mentioned hacks might actually exist.
not even the aimbots come bundled with infinite health mods, which is weird, but still, report any case of hacking using the tools provided by the xbox app to check for recent players.

Are you sure they weren't just better than you?
I already stopped counting the times people accused me of cheating.
If you bring two guns to the fight and therefore can shoot 8 times they accuse you of having unlimited ammunition.
If you eat bananas every time you get hit they accuse you of being invincible.
If you shoot yourself out of your ships cannon to board them they accuse you of teleporting.The everyone-that-kills-me-is-a-hacker mentality that is currently plaguing Sea of Thieves is ridiculous.
Ahoy mate, as others have mentioned, the best course of action is definitely to send a report of the incidents via Support.
We know Rare are looking at all of these reports very carefully to determine exactly what's happening and they take an extremely dim view of any cheating/hacking.
Cheating
We have seen a few reported instances of cheating, where players are compromising the game client or using programs to gain an advantage over other players. Everyone should understand the seriousness with which we treat this, and anyone identified as taking part will have action taken against them, up to and including permanent Xbox Live account bans. There are a LOT more cheats available! Many more than just ESP & Aimbot!
There are people out there that have gained access to the game code & are changing / modifying it to give more cheats than are available on a certain hack site!@logansdadtoo i'm having a hard time finding them, but if it can be confirmed I'll be glad to warn people about the new hacks.

Quicker these hacks get blocked the better!Well.... tonight was the night. For the first time since I started playing Sea of Thieves, I think we ran into a hacker(s). Of course, I don't know how to record in-game on PC so I couldn't even get their names. I set up shortcuts to record to my DVR, but I don't think I did it right, or didn't hit the right buttons, I have no idea. Never needed to record anything before.
It was only 2 of the 4 that were highly suspicious. I've fought a lot of people in this game over the course of 300+ hours, and I've come across people that were just flat out better than me, but these guys were different. 2 of them boarded our ship and killed all 4 of us in under 5 seconds with pistols. It was amazing. I figured they were just damn good, but it started to feel like they were too good. They never missed... like, ever. Every shot was dead on, no matter how much they jumped and moved around. The crew I was with are pretty good, we don't usually lose in fights at all, but we stood absolutely no chance against these guys. In 3 separate engagements, we killed 1 of them that we don't think was hacking, and 1 that we think was, and that's it. We couldn't even begin to aim at them or fire our weapons because we were killed so quickly.
At one point I jumped from the bow of the ship and got shot mid-air, and then again as soon as my feet touched the deck. All the while they're taunting us and reminding us how we're going to die before we can even step foot on their ship. We sunk a total of 3 times, and just kept going back. They purposely weren't finishing the the skull fort we were at (with the captain spawned already) just so they could fight us more. They were that confident.
At one point I jumped in the water about 30 yards away from their ship and swam down as low as I could trying to hide my gamertag. Next thing I see is two bullets whiz through the water from the general direction of their ship and I was dead. I couldn't see them, or see their gamertags underwater.
My buddy claims one of the two were using dual pistols, a blue one and an orange one, but I didn't see that myself so I couldn't say if what he saw was accurate or not.
Of course the recent players works about 5% of the time in this game, so I can't even look there to find them. Instead it wants to show me the people that were in my crew that I was playing with. Gee, thanks.
Anyways.... tonight was the night, it finally happened. Now I need to figure out how to get my DVR to work right.
Hackers exist but the problem is lot of people think if they dye so ennemi is a cheater ...
My friend kill one people and they send a ticket : « report for cheating,you teleporting every time » but this guy don’t think maybe he have bad connections and it’s the reason he see teleporting people ...
Few days we fight vs a galleon (new players beacause don’t know basics mecanics)who shoot me with shotgun, these two guys are 5/6 meter of me, I receive a Xbox message : we have proof you cheating, we shoot 7 times and you don’t die ...Yes have cheating players but lot of people are just better than you or you got lag issues or other so don’t be mad, always have one people better than you it’s a life so don’t tell everybody kill you is cheating ;)

Not at all m8, i responded as i found more sites with detailed instructions on how to modify the game.
They show more 'hacks' that would explain more of the 'unusual' things happening in game.
I have met 3 people 'in game' who i am certain were hacking & i have video evidence to back up my claim.
What did you base your assumption on then??@logansdadtoo my statement is based on my playtime and my friends game experience. 10 people for over 300hrs each - noone of us meet a cheater.

Yeah, seems like the type of thing that could warrant a refund without some option to keep these hacks off Xbox.
Just for my own knowledge as I suspect I finally encountered a cheater...the pistol does not have any sort of knock back correct? I was boarded by a guy the other night who could pull some pretty impressive jump quick shots (not saying this is the cheat) but when he pulled his pistol out and hit me with it I was thrown backwards pretty considerably. I do not recall the pistol being able to do this.
