Is there any specific damage increases due to where you place a shot?
Headshot Damage?

Or even the 2 pistol shots alone

From what I understand you are getting false positives on the client for you "hit". I've shot someone 5 times in a row with my pistol while being taunted about my "bad aim". Pretty sure it's just a server bug.
