Mysterious Voices?

    Hi all,

    So i have noticed a couple of times while exploring i could hear really quite voices like whispering. At first i just put it down to another crew just on the edge of the voice chat radius.

    But i kept noticing it so started to look around but could find no other crews. I was at Cannon Cove and i noticed it again near a skeleton what was pinned to a tree with a sword.

    So the first thing i did was turn up the crew chat volume but that seemed to make no difference, so then i turned it down to 0. Still i could hear it, next i turned down the music volume and it was a little clearer.

    Then i turned both the SFX and Master audio to 100. I could hear the voice a little clear this time. Still could not make out what it was saying but i did hear them talking about the bridge and something to do with something been fun.

    But i had to leave the island at this point the crew i was with was wanting to set sail as we only had a day left to hand in a Merchant mission and the turn in port was a good distance way.

    Has anyone else heard these voices?

    could it be a bounty skull? I've found afew sitting around and those like to whisper to you.

    It's a chat bug
    I've had a bunch of kids swearing and saying racist c**p, really quietly in the background.

    Im not sure its that, this voice was on the sfx audio and i could still hear it once i turned the crew chat volume to 0, but the voices got louder when i turned up the sfx audio.

    Try turning the volume all the way off. In fact go in a quiet room if you still hear the voices you may want to make a few phone calls.

    Maybe i know they have like a whispering sound but to be it they sound more like a whistle or a russeling.

    But the voice i could hear was defiantly voices, English voices.

    Dude your definitely not alone in this, I too have heard these voices. Its not exactly as though they are whispering just like they are far away or at a lowered volume.

    My theory when I noticed it was that maybe its some sort of cross over from pc/xbox players or maybe players that are in the local area but on a different server.

    I don't know, exactly I just know I was on a tiny island when I heard it so it was definitely not proximity chat.

    did not get a chance to go back and check tonight i will try and do it tomorrow and then ill report back.

    I also have experienced this. Can be heard very very faintly but definitely voices of other players even when no one is around.

    It's other players. I listened to the voices saying they were going to galeons grave. Went there and told them everything they were saying. Good lols were had that night.

    Yeah this happened to me, went to a tiny island, I was duo and both could hear other player voices but only in a small space. Was really spooky when it first happened!
