[Suggestion] Accompany "Titles" with Bounties and personal "Achievements". Enhance the Multiplayer Social aspect.

    Picture this...

    When you connect to a server you get a list of maybe 5 (or all of the) pirates on the server. A scrolling screen of (player customised) bounty posters get thrown into your face, these posters wouldn't only contain the Name & Title of the pirates, but also some small achievement that could be selected by the player.

    For example you could see:
    "WANTED: Patchimus, responsible for the massacre of 319 skeletons"
    "WANTED: JoeEveryMan, blown up 7 times whilst carrying explosive barrels"
    "WANTED: PiratePaul, hit 74 headshots with the pistol"
    "WANTED: TraderTerry, delivered 32 chickens to safety"

    I thought about this when I started up Burnout Paradise the other day. I noted with the online multiplayer that it'd zoom to your competitors and give out random "watch out for this guy, he's won 3 races" or "this guy has shunted off 12 other racers". I think it'd be great for pirates to show off something they are famous for, and also give you an idea of the sort of people you're playing with.

    @patchimus If they ever implement player bounties, that would be a great idea. I know that you'll be able to show off your personal achievements in-game (via sails) as mentioned on livestreams.

    It could show the “worst 3” pirates maybe. Then in every Tavern you could see everyone’s.

    Also on your own ship you could have your own bounty sheet sort of like a trophy in the cabin

    Not sure if those achievements will be so granular though.. I’m one of those guys that would love to see a list of stupid stats like “chickens killed” or “times jumped to death”, and also love to brag about it to others :-P

    I’m not sure how player bounties would work as they’re generally open to abuse.. unless there’s a different bounty specific currency that you can earn so it’s not exploitable .

    @patchimus Bounty systems aside, I think it would be fun to visit a tavern for server stats. Maybe have the ability to see random (and funny) stats like you mentioned, regarding players currently in that particular server.

    • longest shot out of a cannon on an island
    • longest distance hit enemy
    • most chickens killed
    • most sharks killed with the sword
    • highest point reached (islands)
    • number of kills while made at low health while being chased by atleast 2 sharks
      and so on
