Concept ideas that would liven up the game

  • Emergent

    1. skeleton rowboat at an island with possibility of them actively carrying and burying chests. With an anchored skeleton galleon or sloop nearby. Won't have loot but will have supplies.
    2. Kraken pulling skeleton ships down similar to the one in the devil's shroud everyone sees during maiden voyage. Leaves explorable shipwreck behind
    3. Instead of skeleton ships or player ships sinking, they would end up turning into shipwrecks as well. This would allow the crew that sunk to have a chance to get their stuff back before another crew claims it completely or the shipwreck sinks completely.
    4. Skeleton convoy would add a man of war Skeleton ship(or a skeleton galleon) and Four skeleton sloops following it. The skeleton man o war would hold all the loot you would find on the skeleton fort However, it would not be marked on the map so you would have to come by it, by chance. It would also have the skeleton lord, that will be partaking, along a lot of skeletons. Similar to the burning blade, you can claim it but you will also be marked and will continuously be attacked by skeleton ships Until you sell the man o war to 1 of the dark brethren. You'll also be marked on the map for everyone else. And the best part is that the loot is based what kind of fort it is. Skeleton fort, fort of fortune, reaper fort and u can't just steal the treasure u have to defeat the waves of skeletons to get the skeleton lord to exit the captain's quarters then defeat him for the key.
    5. skelly fort convoy Reaper voyage edition u assist the convoy to its destination. If it makes it to its destination safely, you get rewarded the amount of gold, it costs to sell all the loot. The difference no escort except u. In order to activate u would raise a special flag u buy from the reaper store allowing u to access convoy and voting in captain quarters to start.

    Stealth

    1. Throwing knife heavy attack should be usable while crouching
    2. Blowpipe should just be usable in general while crouching and should have 2 new darts: sleep dart only works once on each person and can be interrupted with bucket, blunder bomb, or bell if close enough. Another dart that allows you to change the target to look like u including red text a reverse reverse variant of the mimic dart.
    3. Every ledge of a ship and sea fort should be able to be used for a hanging spot.
    4. Grapple gun. The reason the grapple ammo is wasted should be switched. If you hit your target, you keep the grapple if you miss your target you lose a grapple.
    5. Pickpocketing for random chance of ammo food or wood by crouching and interacting only works from behind target.
    6. Crouching behind target with a throwing knife heavy attack or sword light attack allow for u to attempt a Silent kill. Silent kills mute target from their allies while dying. Does not count as silent kill for throwing knife light attack, sword heavy attacks, or guns

The idea of skeleton ships parking at an island for the purpose of unloading and bury treasure would be very interesting! Skeleton ships aren't the hardest opponents, but it would be very fun to sneakily climb onboard while their skeletal crew is busy on the island. Likely, if they were to add that, it would be a skeleton ship spawned for that specific purpose, as converting a roaming skeleton ship to a parked skeleton ship might make a few gears grind, programming-wise.

  • @flashkannon5118 but it would definitely be worth it

  • @acnologia1403 The skeleton convoy sounds awesome. But sounds almost impossible for the solo-sloop. Fight through the sloop escorts. Go for the board on the galleon, fight through the skeleton crew (not sure how many waves), then fight the skeleton lord on the deck. The tough part is when you die, because you will. During that fight did your sloop sink? Is it still close to the galleon? How much time to catch back up and then reboard. Sounds tough for a solo-slooper. Maybe if the dynamics of the skeleton galleon change where it can be demasted or anchor dropped would help.

  • @executivegnu7 it's literally an encouragement to do the actual world event. But if you wanted to challenge yourself , truly, then by all means attack the convoy. Oh, yes, it will definitely be a challenge. Honestly, so friendly is making the game soft. We need more challenge. That's why we need some events that are not solo friendly. If it were solo friendly, it wouldn't be a challenge
