Hello,
Can we please get back to what made Sea of Thieves special in the first place: stories, adventures, mysteries...
I miss the days when new content meant uncovering secrets, following clues across islands, and discussing theories with friends. When Shores of Gold released, it was all I could talk about. Every session felt like an adventure, every discovery felt meaningful, and the world itself felt alive.
Nowadays, it feels like nearly every update revolves around PvP, competitive encounters, cosmetics, or finding new ways to earn the latest skins. Those things have their place, but they shouldn't become the entire focus of the game.
I'd love to see more fables, Tall Tales, mysteries, world events with deep lore, hidden secrets, and long-form adventures that bring the community together through exploration rather than competition. Give us stories that make us wonder what's beyond the horizon. Give us mysteries that have players discussing theories for weeks. Give us reasons to care about the world itself again.
Right now, the thing I talk about most isn't an exciting adventure or a fascinating piece of lore. It's how often I encounter cheaters and how frustrating the experience can be. That's a huge shift from what Sea of Thieves used to be for me.
I don't want my memories of this game to be defined by hackers, endless PvP encounters, or another set of cosmetics. I want them to be defined by unforgettable journeys, legendary discoveries, and stories shared with my crew and all this a lvl 638 Pvp athena and around 200 for pvp reaper.
Please invest more time and resources into meaningful narrative content. Many of us fell in love with Sea of Thieves because it felt like a pirate adventure, not because it felt like a competitive arena.
Bring back that sense of wonder. Bring back the feeling that made us sail toward the horizon just to see what story was waiting for us there.
Thank you.
