Account unlinking. (SaturnBeard workaround)

    SaturnBeard is a major problem among console users within Sea Of Thieves. It’s an impossibly hard problem to fix and one that I have struggled with and still have not found a solution towards. Many other players are in the same boat as me and cannot simply play the game they like and paid for.

    My solution is that Sea Of Thieves does something similar to Minecraft's account unlinking. It would work by just opening SOT’s and you would get an option in the top right (or wherever) to unlink your account directly from the console without needing to log into a lost or forgotten account.

    Hopefully this suggestion is read so that many players can continue to play. [mod edit]

    Unfortunately, with PS you can only link one xbox account to your Sea of Thieves and trying to log in with any other account will result in a Saturnbeard. The 'workaround' is to remember the account details/login of the account that you linked.

    Alright.. and what if they can’t remember the information for the Xbox accounts? It’s all gone? They can’t play a game they paid $60 for? The workaround is to be able to fix an impossible problem that simply can’t be fixed. All in all, this is the exact problem Minecraft had, but they fixed it? So why can’t Rare?

    I think this is out of Rares power.
    You would have to talk to Microsoft or Sony, for such a change to happen.

    Yes this is such a rip off I lost access to my xbox account because Microsoft closed as there was a hacking attempt. Despite having all of the high level security they closed the account so you lose access to all your games on the account. Sea of Theieves Ive been playing since year one on xbox, so Ive lost access to hundreds of dollars in skins etc due to no fault of my own. To top it off I can’t even start fresh because the old account is linked to my psn its disgusting just pure greed on the part of rare and Microsoft. At least Mojang allows you to link another account to psn that's how a caring company should operate.
