You load into a new server and buy all 4 resource crates from the Merchant Trader. (first of all, the bug with not being able to grab crates are still occurring even after you've "fixed it" multiple times.)
You start grabbing the crates by clicking F on PC or X on controller. You take the Wood, Cannon and Fruit crate, sometimes the server lags, sometimes there is a delay to grabbing the crates or you aren't able to take the crates at all due to the bug stated above. So, you click F or X multiple times before you realise it's bugged or got scammed.
Suddenly you are able to grab the Storage Crate from the Trader, but since the key-bind for selling items is so conveniently made the same key as the one you pick up items with, you sell the crate before it even appears in your hands.
Why is there a block on selling the other 3 crates to the same Outpost, but Storage Crate is sellable instantly?
This is a result of multiple issues stacking on top of each other. Server performance in general, the delay when taking the crates from the Trader, the bug where sometimes you don't get the crates at all.
I know it's annoying if you have loads of storage crates collected over time that all are purchased from the same outpost and you can't sell them.
Getting rid of all leftover crates when you are selling is good to reduce strain on the servers. I get it. But there needs to be a timer or something (5 minutes?), until you can sell crates purchased at the same Outpost. This would stop you from instantly selling the crate by accident.
