    110 FOV likely already represents a significant investment of money and development time to adjust models and visuals. Moving to 120 FOV would increase those costs further and divert resources from other important work. Additionally, higher FOVs can introduce visual distortions or performance issues that require extra optimization, so the trade-offs need careful consideration.

  • As someone who plays this game entirely on a 3 monitor setup, my setups wideness already inherently makes my FOV like 200+ degrees, and I can assure you the number of viewmodel bugs and distortions I see in every session is more than anyone should think is reasonable for any game dev company of this size
