I want to play the game on my computer as I previously played on Xbox. However, I normally use tab as my sprint key, and the game just doesn't allow that. I think allowing every button that needs pressing the ability to be changed to another button would be absolutely amazing. I think this would be a huge quality of life feature so that everyone can play how they feel comfortable. I dont really see a reason why this isn't possible and I think it would be awesome! :)

If you have a gaming keyboard it likely has corresponding software, and if so, would probably have key reassignment options. For example, I have a Corsair keyboard and the software for it would allow me to change my escape key to enter, shift to caps lock, ctrl to f1, or any other reassignment I wanted. I don’t use it for SoT but it’s been handy in other games that require a lot of hot keys.
If you do happen to have a gaming keyboard, check online for the software. You could make tab show as shift within the SoT hotkey assignments. If you don’t have a gaming keyboard, you can find pretty cheap ones out there with software.
