Dear Humble members and developers of rare, I come to you today as a play who was sunk around 300 hours into your wonderful game, sea of thieves. I honestly love the game and have enjoyed playing it for as long as I have. Early on into my life I was diagnosed with a severe case of motion sickness, and still suffer from strong amounts of vertigo and other symptoms due to my eyes being the way they are. Now, the reason this is important regarding Sea of Thieves is that I experience large amounts of motion sickness when playing your game. Whether it’s in hourglass or just sailing the seas, I find it quite hard to play the game without taking motion sickness medicine. Now, apparently, I am not the first person to have this problem. Many others in the sea of thieves community also experience motion sickness, which has led some to resort to, drastic measures. Whether it is using an injector or pak files or modifying the ini files, many people (excluding myself, as I have never done this) have changed their FOV, or field of view, to a higher degree, sometimes going up to 120. Now, these people with this change suffer less if not at all from motion sickness because of this. Many others games, such as Minecraft, call of duty, and more, have increased the fov to help people like myself with motion sickness. All I’m asking is that the developers at rare issue a change where the fov cap is unlocked, meaning it can go up to 120. This will surely help many people, who suffer from motion sickness, including myself, feel better while playing your game. If this change does not happen, or can’t for some reason, I would like to know why. If that is confidential that is a-ok, just that I’m a bit curious, that’s all.
