I'm having the "video driver crashed and was reset" bug but I follow the step on the official website,
The Game Crashing on Launch
Uninstall the game, delete the remaining files once it's done to be 100% sure. Then install again, if you still struggle, then try a different drive.
@aminohartree You could try creating a dummy GameUserSettings.ini file with DirectX preset to 11 in the directory it's supposed to be in. The game should read that and set the DX version and load defaults for everything else.
@aminohartree Have you ever been able to start the game before and this error just started, or have you never been able to launch the game?
What kind of system specs and have you made sure your drivers are up to date? Maybe see what kind of error is being given in Windows Event Viewer.
@d3adst1ck I'm on an RTX 4060, i7 14700 K and 32 GB of RAM. I was on the 572.70 NVIDIA driver. What I saw in the event viewer is "Source: Application Error" and "Task Category: Application Crashing Events".
@aminohartree that gpu should definitely support DirectX 12. Have you had any issues in other games or high workload applications? Have you applied motherboard BIOS updates at all?
@d3adst1ck I haven't had any issues with other games, I can run Hell Divers 2 on ultra high. I'm on a laptop.
