Let me start by saying I love your game and that I've been here since day one. Onto my topic though I thought I would suggest companions much like a companion on Skyrim or fallout 76. Off the top of my head I'd recommend maybe a chef to cook for you or maybe a deck cleaner. Personally I wouldn't suggest for cannons or repairing as it would be broken. And maybe with this it would add more life to our captained ships which would be very nice to see. Could even make it a doubloon item and generate some revenue. Rares a good company who developed an amazing game I'm all for supporting a game like your unlike others nowadays.

@xdmanbearpigxd1 Do you mean doubloons (in game money)? Or ancient coins (emporium)?
could be a fun addition. but I'd rather have an in game quest to rescue the your new shipmate. go on and adventure and not just walk into a shop pay real cash.@capt-kamoba Right about the pay to win stuff. If there strictly appearance wise or just small things like cooking I don't think there would be much of a problem. I myself would drop money if it seemed like it brought more life onto the ship.
@lem0n-curry good point, maybe just make them smaller than our characters or something like they despawn within range of non allied ships. I'm sure something could be worked out just thought of those off the top of my head.
