I have a 25% win ratio in hourglass. I sink OVER 75% of the time, yet still CONSTANTLY get matched to players with way more time in game and much higher HG levels. this is ridiculous. What's the problem Rare?

@ictus-xxi Not sure why my stats will matter, but I've played 490 Hg matches. Lost 362 matches and won 128
@ictus-xxi As some further info, I've played roughly 50 days. i just lost a match to a player with 107 days. Hourglass matchmaking is certainly NOT balanced
@gunnner1 my suspicion wouldve been that you are below like 20 matches played. Then it wouldve made sense. Which region are you playing in?
Are these w/l numbers total over both factions and all boattypes?
Are you playing solo or with people with almost 100% winrates?
@gunnner1 okay straight up here, at this point, your win/loss ratio means jack. With the lack of players this mode has, the system is giving you a match sooner rather than making you wait for someone who may be closer to your rating. If there is no-one close in your stamp, it checks further, still no-one, further still, all the way until it finally gives you a match. Are you likely to be equals at that point? Most likely not.
It’s the nature of the beast sadly.
It is pretty simple, there are not enough lower level/newer/casual players doing it so you can be matched against sweat legends. Especially in the solo queue.
Pretty much all the newer players and players that are casual have walked away.
I got the ship cosmetics I wanted and stopped, the skeleton is "seen one seen them all" and I was never into the phantom looks.
I'll probably eventually grind to Reapers 75/Allegiance 100 but I am in no hurry.
Have you tried joining a Brig crew?
MM is a Joke since release.
I got matched on my last game against a guy named [mod edit] with 5 streak running around outpost for hours. Running and Running, not fighting.
I´ve been working hard my streaks, but I get matched against this ....... "Player" who benefit from bad HG desing and has lots of hours to waste, to make others effort feel like a waste of time.
Do you want to loss farm? its ok, I do it sometimes.
Do you want to use cheats? Ok, You will get banned soon or later, but at least is a quick match
Do you want to sweat and stomp others due to lack of MM? Fine, another quick matchBut abusing not closing circle, running for hours just to make others quit, because is not worth it....[mod edit].
