The future of The Sea Dog's Tavern

I feel like theres many paths the tavern could go, many people who could claim it, and many uses it could have, personally i hope if the grand maritime union comes to the sea of thieves, it could either be taken over by them since its mostly abandoned, or it could become a rally point for the pirates to fight back from, but what ever is done with it, im sure will be interesting!

@goldsmen GMU would be cool but as the sort of defacto anti-pirate faction it would seem too close to Reapers Hideout to me. I feel like if they have time to set up right on their front door they might as well just go and destroy them outright. Unless of course they are planning to move in quietly to keep an eye on the hideout until their fleets can safely navigate the shores. That being said, should the pirate emporium move there too?

@sailorkek I was figuring they would move in quietly since its fairly abandoned, they may not even see reapers as a direct target since everything in the sea of thieves is under pirate control, they may not even see the reapers as different from any of the other factions since its all "uncivilized pirates!", but the arena tavern is a huge place with a very good vantage point, many docks for them to set up at, and even some defenses already set up.

@sailorkek As for the pirate emporium, seeing i missed that last bit, if the gmu goes there, i dont think something called the pirate emporium would really be set up there, im not totally sure if they would even be a faction you could side with, or if they would be hostile, and maby have it as an event area perhaps.

@goldsmen yeah, I suppose if they did move there and there was some competition between the GMU and the SoT it would be ideal to have it so close to the Reapers so that both sides could try to sell the desired loot whilst still having a chance to steal it from eachother

Yeah I guess you'd be right there, maybe they'd stay on the outposts still working undercover for the GMU and it doesn't have to be a new faction, I guess i can just keep role-playing as a spy for them myself lol.

@sailorkek Gotta love that ol gmu roleplay! but still, what ever comes to the tavern, im sure it will be awesome! be it the reapers, gmu, or some drunkard who happened to barricade them self inside and demand they own it! what ever rare does will be interesting!

I'd love to see a self proclaimed King of the Sea of Thieves

Would be nice to see it open again, maybe have it used for something; any faction. Reaper sounds cool tho.
