  • sounds good

  • Seven more words: More clothing typical of the time period

  • Ahoy matey , uhm ... you forgot the thin whistle...

  • @scurvywoof preach it brother, preach it. I want more period clothing versus crazy, out there cosmetics like the genie stuff or Greek gods.

  • Scottish stuff too - i'd like a kilt!

  • @clumsy-george I did, and I would love for there to be a wind instrument especially a thin whistle, but at the same time might be asking a little much for two new instruments at once, thats a lot of audio recording having to be done

  • I think a bodhrán skin for the drum would work as well. I don't know about adding other instruments, not sure how doable that is, but I would love there to be fiddles and uilleann pipes... Clothing all sounds good as well.

  • @vlash15 considering English pirates were not the only pirates I don’t see why not. Every country or continent had their pirates. We still have pirates roaming to this day in South Africa and I’m sure plenty of other places. It’s not like English people were the only people on the planet to want to rob people at sea

    You don't see English pirates?
    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just look at any Admiral Set and tell me you still don't see it... 🙄

Just in case I'm mistaken with understanding this, try not to use double negatives (in bold above - may even be a triple); it makes things so much more confusing! 😉

  • @galactic-geek sea of thieves was made in the UK, most of the cosmetics are based on English pirates. OP stated that he wants Irish cosmetics. I stated not all pirates were English. Does the phrase “I don’t see why not” seriously confuse you?

I’m not sure if this phrase is purely only used in the Midwest of the States. Let me explain, if you were at a candy store and you wanted to buy chocolate and your mother said “I don’t see why not” that means “I don’t see a reason to say no”. Or let’s say you go camping and you want to go to the beach instead of staring at a fire, you ask your friend “hey want to go to the beach?” And they respond “I don’t see why not” meaning that they have nothing better to do so why not go to the beach. I’m sorry if human interaction outside of a SoT forum confuses you.

    The phrase wasn't:
    "I don't see why not?"

    It was:
"Considering English pirates were not the only pirates I don’t see why not."

    Commas are kind of important!

    It could have read:
"Considering English pirates were not the only pirates, I don’t see why not?"

    Or, it could have read:
"Considering English pirates were not the only pirates I don’t see, why not?"

Do you see the difference? Context matters!

  • Ahoy!

Let's remember to be polite when we talk with one another and not assume other people's disorders.

May the seas be in your favor.
