ADD RAW INPUT FOR PC PLAYERS!

  • I've seen some talk about this being a "feature" to balance out cross-platform play but it is simply a horrible design choice to inhibit half of your player base. Rare should be looking to ADD to the experience and not take away from it. It is never appropriate to create problems as solutions to other problems and this is what is apparent from either Rare's design choices or negligence. A lot of players not only find it more comfortable but also preferable to be able to play sea of thieves the same way they play other games, without a forced aim response curve and with more options to configure how the game feels when playing it.

This is extremely problematic as rare hasn't even shared what the aim response curve looks like, the yaw and pitch values, or any relevant information that is required to be able to turn on Sea of Thieves for the first time and play it the same as every other game, without having to focus on getting used to your aim on top of other elements. (If Rare really considers this a problem worth withholding these options from players, I suggest giving console players optional aim assist, and PC players raw input as a healthy compromise)

This issue needs to be solved ASAP, as Sea of Thieves does not meet the standard for games these days, not to mention hit reg.

  • Would be nice. Will be interesting to see how halo infinite deals with it.

  • @scoobywrx555 Every game should have it and most shooter games do. Not sure about Halo, but if they do care about the PC port, it should be as a default or atleast an option. Same goes for Sea of Thieves in my opinion :)
