Okay Okay, I recently had this issue. I followed the previous thread (link provided) { https://www.seaofthieves.com/community/forums/topic/28866/my-voice-chat-isn-t-working-on-pc/20 ] for the fixes. NONE of them worked. so I asked sea of thieves/Microsoft. they told me to clear my browser's cache and cookies. didn't work, told me to reinstall Xbox app, didn't work, asked me to reinstall sea of thieves, but didn't work, now some of those may have worked for yall. but for those that all else fails. I found another solution that may actually work for you. and here it is!
Step one: Open your Xbox app
Step two: click on your profile pic!
step three: click on the settings cog!
Step four: Go to Audio section!
Step five: Change your output AND input device to the device you want! (mine was Razer Nari Essential)
Step six: change your Input and Output OFF of your desired Device! (i used my webcam for this)
Step seven: change the input and output back to your desired device! (my nari essential)
That is how I fixed my issue with voice chat. I do hope this helps!
