i did 2 vaults and then a random player joined and just continuely threw my chests in the river and then sail my boat into the island ..
why is it possible for players to troll me on my team and drop my chests in the ocean with no reprocussions
Do what I do
Sloop
do the work yourself. It's more work but less drama
only open the crew when you are pulling up to sell so that you aren't trying to get a bunch of stuff sold by yourself as it's a pain. There isn't a whole lot they can do at that point to ruin it and they will be enticed by the gold so they will help you sell
Do this enough times and you can develop a circle of trust. Keep track of who was cool when they joined and add them and in the future start building that community and expanding so you more often than not have someone to bring inbrig
Don't open the crew unless you have the votes to brig someone on your side. They screw up they get to sit in the brig.Open crew is chaos. It's not always bad but it's chaos and you will deal with a lot of nonsense over time doing it.
Try "looking for a group" or one of these discords floating around the forums. You should be able to crew up with people that'll be compatible with you.
There is no real way to enforce much of anything in an open crew scenario. People get into all sorts of beefs and exaggerate and falsely accuse and on and on and on there just isn't a way to crack down on it so you have to take it into your own hands and work on prevention rather than justice
@webberbbq6255 If a crewmate is ruining your experience by being disruptive - verbal abuse, dumping treasure, eating all of your food or firing your cannons unnecessarily, team-killing via blunderbombs, consistently setting your ship aflame, simply not contributing, locking up certain interactables, deliberatelycrashing the ship, etc. These are all reportable offenses. You can report them via Xbox Live's report system and/or here on the site.
