Primarily a Galleon Arena problem. Undercrewed ships hold up the lobby for unreasonable lengths of time, when matches only last 15minutes it's easy to spend more time in the lobby than accutually playing, leading to a lot of less patient players leaving. Thresholds for crewing ships should be reduced if players can't be found, have them join while game in progress. Otherwise we are reduced to begging these undercrewed ships to close their crew so that the game can start. Very frustrating.
Arena Wait Times
- PirateCrobMarauderInsider
This is an ongoing problem with arena, Galleon wait times I have recorded are around 30min on average. Sloop wait times have also been going up as well and are sometimes on par with Galleon wait times. The devs announced they are shifting focus all on adventure mode and no longer updating arena/investing time into arena mode because it hosts a small percentage of the player base.
It sucks because this makes getting the commendations and loot rewards very time consuming and it makes arena not even an option for players who only have a few hours a week available to play the game.
I agree they should at least add a matchmaking feature that pairs full crews with other full crews, instead of waiting for single players to gain a full crew because currently more time is spent in lobby than in the game.
