With the final hammer in the Arenas coffin lid now firmly being hammered into place, is it time to revisit the discussion of the required 240 wins to unlock the set?
I have always been against lowering this requirement in the past as I thought there would be a future for The Arena, and was always accepting that I would reach that milestone one day.
But this year, getting a run of games together has been all but impossible.
The constant loading issues, players getting kicked from the game innocently and unable to return to join the rest of the match, just a few issues happening in that mode of late make anyone trying to reach 240 wins tedious.
When the matches went to 15 minutes each I expected there would be lots of fun sessions out there, but for every 15 minute game, you'll be lucky to play 1 per hour as it stands. And the Arena lobby isn't the nicest place to spend that other 45 minutes!!
So, the legendary weapon set. The ONLY part of the legends complete set that needs to be unlocked outside of The Adventure mode will now be mostly unobtainable for any newer player joining from this date.
Is it time to bring the weapon set home to the adventure mode and have some ridiculously hard achievement to obtain it?
