Currently the game is crashing at the Rare screen when loading SOT. Don't have the option to run as admin as the option is grayed out. All other games work just fine, only SOT is giving me the issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

I went through the list of fixes found in the link below, and I mean everything, but without any luck. The game still crashes to desktop as soon as the Rare screen pops onto screen.

It's been about a week since my last game and within that time no changes have happened to my pc other than a Windows Update from today, so maybe it has something to do with that? I don't know...
@paytwig I have exhausted that list as well. Sorry to hear your in the same boat as me. With the new update rolling out tomorrow definitely hoping for a fix.

I uninstall/reinstall the game twice, and followed the same list as you, the game still crash at the Rare logo, without any error message.

unfortunally I don't think its that, the post you show is 2 years old, and even when I turn my av off, the game still crash at launch.worst, yesterday everything was ok, I havn't change anything still.

Going to investigate this today, thanks for flagging.
Encountered identical issues (Win10); have made sure Windows is up to date, and have attempted an Uninstall/Reinstall. Retail client crashes just after the Rare logo splash, and Insiders client is regrettably similar.
I do use Trend Micro for antivirus, yet having the appropriate files white-listed makes no difference.
Game launched fine when last played 48 hours ago, though a recent Windows update may be suspect.
Could someone with the issue try this and post the results back? We are aware the servers are down for maintenance, but we just need to see if you can get past the splash screen.
Press the Windows Key
Type in Settings
Select Gaming
Select Game Bar
Uncheck 'record game clips, screenshots and broadcast using Game Bar'
Select Captures
