My latest walk came as a big surprise thanks to capt ballzonia and everyone involved, it started with getting a picture with capt in front of his screenshot immortalization. After, he took me to sailors bounty to check out another Easter egg.
We spotted a galleon sinking at the island so we slowly made our way over to investigation. As we approached latched glues immortalization her and her crew popped out from behind the island! I listened to them chat about how cool it was first discovering their references and how exciting it was to see people come across them.
We set sail for shark bait cove to check out one last Easter egg where we were attacked by an enemy ship. After the dust settled and the enemy destroyed we continued on to the island. After more screenshots and chatting around Scruffys shanty immortalization I decided to start doing the despair emote at his book as if I am was screaming at it. Few seconds letting Scruffy pops out of nowhere asking what I’m doing with his book.
We all sat around him to listen to him not only recite his shanty but one he came up for this occasion which left me speechless. I listened to everyone tell tales of their adventures and how certain things came to be. As we sailed off to end our night I was given words of encouragement to continue on my journey.
I’ll admit since then, I do have days where I find myself asking if I should continue but I remember all the kind words everyone has told me and have vowed to continue my walk among the immortals until I’ve taken my last immortalization shot. This project started out of fun and I never imagined it would lead to all the amazing stuff it has so far.
