I ended up with 90 teeth. in the last couple of days, I just could NOT find the last Meg I needed. did anyone else same the same difficulty finding Megs?
I even found less sharks appearing at sunken ships...
Shark Teeth challenge
@old-wal I thought the event was a bit of a joke. I got bored after finishing it on day 2 that I did it on my alt as well.
Just have to do things that motivate a world event to spawn on you. I found spending 15 or so minutes on an island and then setting sail to work quite often.
I just did all the one-off teeth challenges first, since I figured collecting shark meat would probably take the longest. A few shipwrecks later and I had most of the meat and managed to light the beacon and collect the blue flame. I killed one meg during that session also (+20 teeth for the Crested Queen, I think?).
I was able to get the last bits of meat and kill 2 more megs (one of which was the Ancient Terror worth 40) in another 1-2 sessions of just sailing around looking for loot/trouble. I had a few more meg spawns after that as well that I just ignored since I was done.
@captain-coel I'm not saying it was hard, or easy, or boring, I'm saying I couldn't FIND any on the last 2 or 3 days...

all i did was kill a handful of megs. im shocked anyone could have failed to complete that event, even by accident.
