Kraken Nerf

    The recent patch made the Kraken incredibly easy when fighting it on a sloop. I've beaten it twice without taking any damage what so ever. It was completely doable before, you just had to sweat a little to survive, so i really don't understand the point of this change.

    There will always be those players that maybe aren't the best at the game, but still want to solo sloop and do the hardest content, and then they complain and blame the game when they die. Isn't solo sloop supposed to be the hardest thing to do? Then what's the problem?

    There is a lot of other challenging content in the game too, so it's not like nerfing only the kraken will satisfy those people anyway. For example skeleton ships are much harder to defeat solo than the kraken.

    Everything is a work in progress with this game. Things get hard, things get easy. I am sure this isnt the Kraken's final form.

    @man-o-war-meche Probably not. It was like that with Devil's Roar. But i see more and more posts complaining about difficulty (maybe because of all the new players) so i feel we need to make our voices heard for them to actually do something about it. Good thing is they are very good at listening to feedback :)

    I have not even got to fight the kraken in awhile. I saw on twitch Shumba fighting one and it died in 9 cannon balls.... That is way to weak.

    I will enjoy the easy wins to get my 10 kraken kills though. if she ever spawns on me that is.

    I agree that this game still in progress adding a lot of stuff, but like 1 year adjusting kraken? Noo, that's too much, devs just don't know who to listen and they keep changing him, that's the problem.

    @skritsarn Yep the Kraken was already very easy on a sloop before and now it's just a joke. On a Brigantine and a Galeon it's hard but on a sloop ...

    I totally agree with you here @Skritsarn
    It seems you have to beat only 2 tentacles in solo and duo sloop. I think it was 3 before the update.
    And I mean, it's the Kraken. This creature is so epic that we never saw it while it's surely the biggest and the most dangerous of the game.
    I really think that's not a good change. The core community players of this game like the actual difficulty. They don't have to make things easier for new players who came with streamers hype while they'll change game as their favorite streamer do so.
    I just hope they'll don't mess it up with many other nerf updates like this...
