Hello everyone,
So I wish to eventually possibly become a pioneer! But you see I have seen pioneers with as little as 8 posts with lower reputation and followers, with last being active almost a year ago! I understand this might be pointless, but worth a go I guess. Have fun and happy sailing! :D

How Does One Become a Pioneer?

Currently there isn't a sure way to get into the Pioneer Program. Only Rare knows how they hand select each Pioneer as they have their own process for doing so. It looks like you're already an Insider which is a great start! Here's a brief look at the Pioneer FAQ:

Rare has discussed their intentions to add more players to the Program as time goes on so there is still yet hope!

Well they should really consider who they are making pioneers. - The most achivemented and most hours played ones should be pioneers.
Right now i know alot of pioneers who never touched the game in months and still are pioneers and they never touched the pioneers either.Me as a VERY active SoT player think that this is unfair BUT life isen't fair so we're gonna have to live with it.
If you get to be pioneer then YEAJ you...otherwise, sucks but that's how life is :P
