Two sinks and you are forced to leave the server. Sounds like you are punishing people for losing a battle.
Also, two is nothing in this game. Think of things like Alliance betrayal, once and they come back and lose the one battle due to not having the resources by set betrayal. There so many variables that a limit like this should be 4 or 5 at a minimum, with a reset timer.
It would be infuriating for most people to be FORCED to migrate.
Are you fed up with a server? Nothing is holding you back to start anew. Even though we tend to win fights, we occasionally swap due to us no longer digging the vibe of the server, be it due to lack or consistent pirate on pirate action.
In regards to stream snipers, having the ability to boot people off a server should not be in hands of the players. Give streamers a streamer mode to change game tags to Pirate 1, Pirate 2, etc or something along those lines. Though in the end it is part of the being a streamer to be honest. Don't adjust the gameplay of everyone cause you choose to broadcast to the world your location. I am not against facilitating streamers, but the adjustments should be client side not server.
2nd: Loot should increase in value as over time it's on your ship. (and/or greatly reduce the number of outposts so it takes more time to turn in) as is no almost no one keeps loot on their ship. sure you sink someone get nothing and just wasted your mats. make it be a risk reward... sure you can play it safe and turn in often so if do get attacked you don't lose much or you can choose to risk it and increase value (this can be done multiple ways, one idea was increase it every 15 minutes up to a max of +30% gold/rep, then if someone steals it, the timer resets but the bonus doesn't so then it increases another +30%.... or can just make it like +2-5% every few minutes and resets if stolen or what ever)
I would like an incentive to horde, though over time this increases as people level up and care less about treasure and accumulate it quicker. I have lately seen quite a bit of stolen treasure in comparison to a couple months ago when it was rare for anyone to have anything else than maybe 2/3 items.
3rd: Show number of players/ships in your server... sucks to sail around in a server with one other ship in it, it gives a VERY empty feeling, i know a few ppl turned off from the game cause of it feeling so empty.
Just like everything this should be a physical spot for people to check. I personally would love a player roster in the tavern or specific billboard at outposts with wanted posters of the population of the server. Even maybe have the bounty go up over time, so we can track who has been on for a while vs the new spawn.
4th: i'm sure unlikely to happen if so prolly would had by now... but increase number of ships per server... just 10 or 12 even would be fine...
10 or 12 would cause overpopulation, as this is nearly double the current limit. Though that said an additional two ships seems good to me, but then again I enjoy PvP. There is a balance to these numbers to manage the amount of pvp encounters in order to facilitate the PvE side of the game without it becoming a brawl fest, we will have Arena for that soon enough.
