So today I played and killed said shark with about 12 other people, no fighting between us. Everyone helping each other fixing boats and sharing resources. This is by far the most fun I have had and thank you rare for actually bringing the community together.
Hungering deep brings everyone together
i hope this inspires the community to try other playstyles besides the kill-on-sight style. i solo'd and completed my journey. right as i got my drum and shanty, a galleon pulls up, just starting. i scuttled and showed them the way lol had to go to work, but i didn't care. i didn't make a single gold coin today 🤔i did spend some though. unfortunately, i had to leave as we were trying to summon Meg, but maybe I'll meet her tonight 🤣
@th3-ch4dw1n It has been really cool having crews mixing so much. I saw more white gamertags than I ever have before on my ship and didn't sweat it once.

Played the hungering deep last night solo and found all the journals and got the megaphone, drum and shark tattoo. Waited for other crews to join me in the final battle but after a hour no sign of anyone so i gave up. Next time i play do i have to start from the beginning?
Nope! You already have the drum. Now you just have to wait near Merrick (or kill site) for another 4 people with drums.
I'd suggest you wait near Merrick in case the people you find our new to it and don't know about "carrying the tune".
