I'll be brief. Sea of thieves should have dyes that you can purchase that let's you paint an items main color element. Each dye can be priced and unlocked in different ways. This will help every person customize their stuff more how they would like while still being able to show wealth if desired.

They have shown us a few different coloured items etc that are yet to be seen in game, so they may have a lot more designs & colour schemes available. If not i think that dyes & paints would be a great addition, although i do feel the palette should be limited so we don't end up with candy pink ships & power ranger pirates ;)
