Fastest wat to get to legendaty pirate?

I'm grinding for legend too and my advice is... grind. No fast ways no easy way outs. Merchant is the fastest one to level by capturing a lot of gold/black animals and then turn them in with Merchant Voyages, as for the others... Happy grinding ._.

Souls take she longest. Think of it this way. Gold you just gotta dig holes, souls is the same thing as gold except you gotta fight for it making it much longer. Merchant you can practlly choose how fast you go

Order of souls is actually the fastest. Gold Hoarders are the slowest

I think it can be argued each way. As the post said above, im also not trying to level up my gold it just does. It one level behind my souls.

I don't know about that...85% of the chests I dig up come with 3-5 skeletons :/

Let's be honest you can handle a few Skellys.

Edit I'm not denying that they don't spawn lol just that they don't pose much threat

fair enough - I'm just tired of switching between shovel, sword and shovel almost every single time I dig up a chest. Just let me take your treasure without you having to die a second time...

We all know the pain mate and most agree. I'm fine with Skellys making me run from the island and chasing me Indiana Jones style but I don't need to be killed by a bomb defusal camper like in cod

The fastest way is if you are a streamer...you can tell all your followers to get tons of treasure, then you join their crews and get rep for them turning in the loot.

That's how that what's his name streamer did it to become the first pirate legend in SOT......although I really don't see the fun in that method.

I agree with you on that. Plus, how does it feel to be a pirate legend who basically had everyone else do your work for you? You aren't really a legend in my book. You didn't even play.

I'd rather take my time and enjoy the game. I have friends/family grinding, so I get the benefit of their higher level quests instead ;)

Aye...I made myself take the solo challenge. reach Pirate Legend while on a Solo sloop the entire time. No crews. I'm currently at 23/21/22. once I reach 50/50/50, I shall finally join crews.

It's a long slow road ahead, but I still forge ahead.

Well good luck to you there! I enjoy playing with friends and family so I'll continue that way, but props!!

If you have a family, then assign "chores" to each household member. Each person gets a shift doing specific faction missions. Of they don't meet gold quotas feel free to withhold food . . .

Don't rank up your factions. That just makes you sail further, gives you larger islands, and BS chumpy skeletons.

1-50 Gold Hoarders(unknown): I don't know a GH cheese. just cycle voyages for 4+ X marks the spot and only do those then cancel and cycle new ones. Probably can be done in 3-4 days 1-50.

1-50 Order of Souls(36-40 hours ish): Lock out 12 common 4 captain islands by completing them first. near 1-3 islands with possible 4x captain and cycle voyages till island appear. Kill 3 captains, cancel voyage, kill 4th captain. Cycle until same island appears again and repeat.

1-50 Merchant(36 hours ish): Merchant Cheese. lock out all outposts except one. Stack Cages/Snake Baskets, catch 100 golden chickens 50 golden snakes. Park at outpost and turn in non stop. 45-50 in 8 hours and 1-50 in probably 36. For further information use google.

RARE was straightforward with what was going to be released. Just because you're not happy with it doesn't mean the rest of us are as well. Most people haven't been on the forums; they've been playing and enjoying the game, unlike you.

No. They were not. See also the video a couple of threads down. They outright lied no matter how hard you close your eyes and pretend otherwise.

The absolute fastest way is to server hop for skull forts and leeching off people turning things in.

By all means, follow your bliss.

Get a community to grind a lot of voyages and let them invite you before handing in. No effort required.
