I don't think pirates in the brig should not get loot from voyages. It would be more true to a brig if they were basically cut off from obtaining loot and would enforce the "ye need to contribute" mentality.

@throen43 how can people contribute if they get insta brigged alot of the time, though i do agree with what you are saying,
but what is stopping 3 friends getting in a random have him do all the work then as they reach outpost bam in brig and he gets nothing, its gets abused as it is sadly
its the same the kicking mechanic would be abused as well if we had one, get into a decent galleon crew 2-3 hours later you have 30+ chests on board then boom kicked just to make way for a friend who came online.
@cavemancronch completely agree. The instabrig is completely abused and this function is killing the allowance of new players being able to game with other players. This is often used as a bullying tactic.
@vault-88-pipboy yeah i mean i agree with brigging asshats if they cause trouble like throw loot overboard. but dont think i would like it if people could just brig me and loose gold just because they can.
in that situation it would be used to troll all the time and there would be groups who would do it on purpose just for the luls
The brig works both ways it stops Trolls and it's fun when you are with a full crew of friends. But I do believe there should be a timer on getting brig'd for sure (when joined), when my crew isn't online i do enjoy jumping into random galleon crews, I believe you get insta brigged about 50% of the time and i didn't do anything wrong? Digging up a chest insta brigged. I do believe they need to add a mechanic to break out of the brig? Or even adding a Red flag system which enables people to brig you. (Or a plain Old kick system)
@potatoe-beard yeah me and my friends have fun with it while we are a full friends group lol, usually its things like fall off the crows nest into water while sailing brigged, get drunk and fall off boat brigged lol.
