Eye Of Reach, Blunderbuss, or Sailor Pistol

    I understand the guns are situational but i find my self running eye of reach more often as it is a guarenteed 2 shot. In the water, on the beach, ect. I also prefer the skins on it! Tell me what you like to run and why.

    @call-blocked Eye of reach all day. Unless Im about to do some boarding or repel boarders... in which case the blunderbuss is my choice.

    Blunder. Anything else when you're trying to do skeleton forts, board, or kill boarders is kinda useless.

    Really wishing for max 2 guns + sword loadout.

    I'm a Cutlass main, I carry a Flintlock as my firearm of choice, but rarely use it.

    Running a cutlass/blue skin on my pistol, more accurate since... have no idea why.

    @call-blocked Well like you said, it's situational but I find myself using the blunderbuss more than any of the others because it makes short work of players and skellys alike at close range and seems much more reliable at heads-shotting than the pistol (at least in my experience). The eye of reach is great for long distances obviously but the combination of a long reload time and the very low aim-down-sights sensitivity on PC make it challenging for me to use (without toggling my DPI up and down which makes it more trouble than it's worth imo)

    Same here. I tend to pack the blunderbuss. My aim is pretty poor, so I can't always guarantee a headshot with a pistol, but a point-blank hail of buckshot tends to do the trick, whatever I'm shooting at...
    If my aim improves after release, then I might move to the pistol- simply because some of the skins look lovely... I rarely use the eye of reach- it doesn't feel like a piratey weapon to me- but it does have its moments & uses...

    lol and how, I love when a pirate rushes me, cutlass in hand when I'm packing the blunderbuss because I know I pretty much can't lose.

    Yeah the eye of reach, while interesting and unique to SoT does kinda suck some of the pirate flavor from the game.

    Blunderbuss and cutlass are the two weapons i run since I can get really good sword dashes off which cut down time (sorry for the pun) and the blunderbuss is amazing for skelly forts and PvP

    I also preffer Eye of reach, mostly because I don't like guns in general, with the exception of sniper (no idea why). And also because in a melee fight I panic like crazy and I forget to aim... oops. So I stand a better chance with a sword (and I always liked blades). Also when someone with a blunderbuss missed me (must've been a player like me lol) I had a chance to cut them down while they were reloading.
