How do you get the chickens?
HELP!!!
Since I'm not seeing any in depth responses to this yet;
After you start a voyage to get pigs or chickens, you can pick up their coops and cages from any merchants guild rep.
Next, head to a large island, like Old Faithful Isle. Most of these have both chickens and pigs.
Take the appropriate crate onto the island, and use it to catch the animal you need.
TIPS: Animals drown quickly; try to keep them above water.
Animals make a lot of noise, you can not sneak around with them.
Chickens do not need to be taken care of, however pigs will need to be fed bananas from time to time. When they get hungry, they will sit down and start making noises like a dying old man. Trust me, it's noticeable.
Animals can die in their cages, so avoid cannon fire with them on board.Edit: Another tip - Chicken Isle doesn't have chickens. Do not go there looking for chickens; you will be disappointed if you do.
@sweetcalf942652 maybe you can answer this.
We caught some chickens yestday and then we was happily sailing back to required outpost and when we got close by we noticed they had disappears from the cage we put them in the captain's quarters so then had to find more at a closer island to required outpost to complete quest.
We was not attacked by any other ship or anything.
Will they only live so long in the cage or do they prefer to be on deck in light.
