Map Waypoints

    I was thinking, what if when you set a waypoint on your map then on the compass at the wheel has a circle or a line telling you which direction to go? I think it would be helpful for both solo players and group players.

    No, i don't think so..
    that goes against what this game is all about. Your self orientation, or crew cooperation.

    If you mark something on you map.you should memorise some references to help your orientation.
    If you're alone on the sloop, go behind you anchor lifter and try to give a sneak look down between soft rooftop.. you'll see the map.
    That may help your in your first sailings alone

    I agree! Having to keep track of where you are on the map is part of the fun (for me at least)

    Remember, on the Sloop, you can just look over the deck behind your helm and see where you are going instead of having to go back and forth from the main deck to the mid-deck. Saves a lot of time!

    @bezzlebufo I agree. I think users should have a checkbox in options to turn on or off a waypoint indicator (on the compass or somewhere visible from the wheel without having to exit the wheel) when you mark the map.
