like the title says im getting this new error failed to open descriptor file athena.uproject once i try to start the game. and i cannot find any info about it. hope someone could help me out.

@ratsoediv Unfortunately this sounds like the install didn't complete successfully. I would try a complete uninstall then reinstall the game.
Failing that I would submit a support ticket using the link below.
