Last Ship Standing

  • Now last ship standing is a great idea but there are a lot of things that need to be changed I personally think there needs to be more done to ensure people fight eachother mainly in solo because you gain exp from placement if you arent the best why would you fight another boat and sink first when you can run and place top 3 and get more exp I think the fix for this should be a required amount of cannons hit on another boat and/or damage to players with this system it could also be tiered - more cannons hit = more exp.

    Another issue i have is that i have been queuing for over an hour now in solo (during gold rush hour) and still havent found a game now i know it is limited time and will retun every month for a week but why not just limit it to certain hours of the day (peak hours) or just make it duo only that would solve a lot of issues.

    The final major issue i have is one that every winner has suffered why is the portal in the center where the fight usually ends and you basically get instantly teleported this could have an easy solution and benifit players if you just gave the winner the set flags that wouldve been earnt in the game just like you spawn the storage crate or give a way to manually leave whilst also have a system where if you dont leave in 5 minutes you get teleported back.

    I hope this feedback is taken on board as i would really like to see this game do well and i think these fixes i have suggested would genuinely do that but at the same time im not a dev and maybe some of my solutions maybe to much to ask but i dont think anything i suggested was extreme.     So if you're a poor shot all through the match, and somehow still manage to reach 2nd place, you get nothing?

    Time limited, I dont think it needs such strict rules.

    Better solution: Remove Flags, increase circle shrinking speeds, random keg spawning

  • you should still get placement xp but i think you should get rewarded for hitting shots and not just running i think this would strongly encourage players to fight more as you are ment to in the first place but when players do have a poor shot and would be very likely to sink early on why would you bother fighting people when you can run and get more xp than fighting in the first place but with a system where you get xp from hitting more shots there is an incentive to fight that is my main goal with this suggestion

    another thing i shouldve added to my post was that the shrinking arena shouldnt insta sink i think it should just be a shrinking hitbox so it damages the ship and brings the ships closer together what the zone is intended to do not insta sink boats and in some situations it is just imposible to sail inbounds (mainly solos) i think this would improve the mode but i think this would just introduce many more bugs and for some reason i think a lot of people would hate this even though it would be a lot better like imagine playing a br and get 1 tick of damage from the zone and now you just dead gg

    Well, with that, why still fire shots as long as I still get placement XP.

    Shrink the circle faster without warning; have the circle cause more damage to ships the closer they are, force all ships into the center.
    Nothing else needs fixing; people are going to play how they want to play; it's their style.

    • Two ships are the last remaining. They come together and play Dice roll, the winner gets to shoot the other ship until all cannonballs are used up and racks in those XP points.
