    I got 2 Faction Ideas:
    Charity Union

    You receive Gold and Charity Union XP when you donate loot to other players.

    Depending on where they sell the loot you get a percentage of what they got.
    (They still get the loot at full price, you don’t.)

    Phantom Templars - 90%
    Reapers - 80%
    Sovereign - 70%
    Hunter’s Call - 60%
    Merchant Alliance - 50%
    Order of Souls - 40%
    Gold Hoarders - 10%

    Phantom Templars

    With the addition of this faction, more temples appear and runes and mysterious items been added.

    Their faction home locations are on 2 different islands. One all the way down at the very bottom south west and another at the very top north east.

    They will NOT accept Chests, every other treasure they will accept and they are the only place that accepts Mysterious Treasures. (Also only them and sovereign accept Runes.)

    If your fleet level is 4 or higher under their emissary, your ship will cloak at night appearing invisible to the other players and NPCs. When this happens you may not use the cannons.

    Why of all factions so low?

    Reapers - 80%

    WHY are they higher and not athena?

    If your fleet level is 4 or higher under their emissary, your ship will cloak at night appearing invisible to the other players and NPCs.

    Over Power....and people dislike Reaper seeing Factions at lvl 5

    When this happens you may not use the cannons.

    Kegs, Fire, Island cannons...Rowboat with cannon.

    My ship being invisible would seriously not be fair for others. I wait til nightfall, go over to that FotD, get into position, become visible at sunrise, and open fire at a moment's notice without them even seeing me coming.

    You don't see how game breaking this would be?

    Yeah, I can see how the invisibility cloak thing probably shouldn’t be a thing.

    I know I also had idea of factions before 5 Years ago in a former post I made, I just sent a link to my Google Documents about it rather then typing it all up here.

    Regardless, I feel like it would be good to have a couple more factions in the game.

    The reason Gold Hoarders pay Charity Union the least, is because they are the most greediest faction and doesn’t want to give away more wealth then they have to.

    I feel like for Reapers it would be the opposite. The Skeleton Dude would be more than happy for you help on getting him more stuff. As well as it encourages you to give your loot to more Reapers. As you gain a benefit from them cashing in on your donation.

    Also I don’t know about Athena much other then it’s a Faction you get at Pirate Legend, idk if you can sell anything to that faction or not.

    @truesoulenergy If your a new player you may need treasure but what about all of us that no longer need anything? none of this is even worth our time. Once you hit distinction 5 in everything like we have we no longer need to collect loot unless it is for a commedation we didn't finish yet. We have so much gold that we again don't need to collect gold. Until they give us more Distinction levels to finally be able to see a point in collecting treasure for companies and see progress going up none of this will even be worth it. You can get gold from raising your alliance flag and forming an alliance with someone willing right now. So my question then would be what is the benefit of this to long time players? And how would it even work out for new players if they were on a server with only players that had everything completed and they didn't need gold or treasure since they are already distinction 5 in everything?

    I really don’t understand your question/point Elmo.

    There is new factions meaning new quests to do for the veteran players, more stuff to do, more stuff added to find (mysterious items/runes)

    Then I also had Pyromancers and Storm Striders idea as well in the post I made 5 Years ago that’s also a really good suggestion for a New Faction.

    System Abort: Burn your own ship while emissary of the Pyromancers
    Burning Bones: Burn 15 Skeletons
    Flaming Sacrifice: Burn another pirate from another crew while also burning yourself.

    Storm Striders
    Slogan: Let’s kick up a Storm
    BIO: This Trading Company has an obsession of storms and admire thee beauty of them. This Trading Company was established by Ruby El’Thunder.
    Colours: Primary Dark Purple, Secondary Dark Blue
    Flag: Dark Blue Background with a Golden Lightning Bolt Symbol.
    Voyage: Voyage to a certain area during a storm.

    When you use your Emissary Licence to represent this company:
    You have full Storm steer control
    You have double speed in a storm
    You can endure more hits to your ship when in a storm
    Horn at the back of ship that draws in a storm after 24 hours of blowing into it.

    Commendations:

    Storm Voyager: Complete 5 Storm Strider Voyages
    Emissary of Storm: You became an Emissary for the Storm Striders
    Worthy Emissary of Storm: Reach Storm Striders emissary Grade 2, 8 Times.

    This is what I had for these 2.

    I also kinda want my own pirate name in the game. (I don’t have it in game but I always had a name for myself as a Pirate, Dead-Eye Seth Silver.)

    And quickly done leaving nothing left to do.

    Look at when Rings were introduced with factions capping at 500. Players finished them in weeks....
