cheaters

  • I'm quitting the game and I'll try to convince all my friends to uninstall it because you can't even implement an anti-cheat.

  • agreed iv already uninstalled the game because they don't listen to their community cater to the small group of pvper an ontop of that they rely on eac to stop cheaters which will never happen. Have fun playing real games that wont shut you out for speaking your mind.

Question, if that is true...Why are you still on the forums? Uninstalled why bother coming here. Curious to know.

How do they cater to pvpers? Simply because pvp exist or what? The game has always been one filled with encouraged conflict among players. Also, nobody complains about cheating more than those who frequently engage in PvP, particularly hourglass, because they’re the ones encountering it the most often.

I get the frustration, and I’m not going to disagree with you. Cheating is a problem in this game, a big problem, and nothing will end my session quicker than running into a group of cheater dorks.

  • @burnbacon What's the use of your comment? Explain.

  • Everytime I see a post like this in the forums it reminds me of the Robert Shaw's smile from "Jaws" as he was singing:

Farewell and adieu to you spanish ladies,
Farewell and adieu to you ladies of Spain...

  • @metal-ravage

xD the next part sums it up.

"We will rant and we'll roar like true British sailors. We'll rant and we'll roar all on the salt seas"

  • @burnbacon True that, yet "we'll rant and we’ll roar like true international randos from LFGs" works as well in SOT.

  • @capt-greldik They ignore an block out the voices of other players. the fact they only wish for pvp in their game shows they are catering to pvpers. safer seas is a joke that got old a year ago. as far as cheaters if you have no experience in these programs then youll always be blind to the real facts, real cheaters hide their activity very well. Hour glass is just a breeding ground for super aggressive cheaters. the amount of buyers for sot cheats is only growing because they refuse to listen to anyone but pvpers. the fact that you still cant see this as an "active pirate" is just funny just watch a few trolls an aggressive pirates on you tube, you can see small things that prove they are cheating. im sorry you cant see the big picture in this. Tarkov, dayz, rust, arma reforger. all games that allow pve environments that all have massive player base. rare is destroying their own game. player base is dropping an people only come back for a couple of days then leave again. all of you that constantly defend this No pve are just scared you wont find fights but all pvpers will be sitting in those same servers. then you can really test you skills vs players who actually want that. thousands of players have been wanting it yet you lose player base an gain cheaters an still defend this pathetic facade that a pirate game can only have a pvpve environment which is a joke because nobody plays high seas to pve an if they do they always end up in pvp no matter what they do.

  • @contraband3630

You seem to imply that I was denying the cheater problem existed. On the contrary, I agree 100% that it’s a massive issue and yes it extends well beyond pvp.

You still didn’t explain how sot is catering to pvpers, but you did sort of confirm what I initially suspected which is that the very existence of pvp in the PvPvE game equates to catering to pvpers in your eyes.

You seem to have misunderstood the intent of safer seas, please see the copy/paste message mods have posted here countless times. Safer seas was never meant to be your pve equivalent.

This game has always been a PvPvE game, you bought it knowing that. Everything about this game is meant to encourage conflict as far as I can tell. Big clouds in the sky, markers on the map, emissaries, etc.. it’s not catering to anyone, it’s simply what the game is and always has been. Perhaps you were just never the target audience to begin with might be a better way of looking at it?

  • @jhonnylacabeza bye felicia

  • If you believe a player has been toxic in the game or suspect foul-play, you can report them to Xbox Live here. You can also submit a support ticket via Rare Player Support. As this is a matter for Support and not the Forums, I'll be dropping anchor here.
