New Tall tales

  • How about a wild crossover between Fallout and Sea of Thieves? Imagine a questline like the "Pirates of the Caribbean" one, but here’s how I see it:

At the start of the quest, you approach a hermit’s tent. Out steps a Vault Dweller, who tells you how the Institute’s experiments went horribly wrong—tearing the fabric between the Sea of Thieves and Fallout worlds. To save the Sea of Thieves, you’ll need to take down the big bad that crossed over: a Deathclaw.

Along the way, you’d solve puzzles in both universes (maybe pirate riddles mixed with terminal hacking). And of course, we’d need killer cosmetics: a Vault suit, a red bandana with welding goggles, a Chinese officer’s sword... you get the idea.

P.S. Writing this out made me realize how ridiculous it sounds… but hey, Fallout has sentient ghouls and Sea of Thieves has ghost ships—why not go nuts?

That like having Halo “Flood” universe invade MLP….it a fever dream or nightmare

  • @frozent228

I mean, why stop there? World of Warcraft has sentient ghosts, ships, pirates, plus they've already collaborated with Battlenet. Why not add in the Lich King (best storyline ever) too?

  • @frozent228 I think this is a bit too far fetched. The other collaborations make sense since they are pirate IP's and would be around the same time period. Fallout wouldn't work because it wouldn't fit at all and it is way too far in the future timelines wise

  • Rather trying to weasel their way into whatever crossover occurs to people, which don't forget requires the other company's permission, they should just be making more original Tall Tales.
We don't need our Tales to tie in to whatever other media franchise of the day.
I would like loads more Tall Tales. SoT specific ones.
