Weapon wheel or 3 weapon slots

  • Two active weapons is enough, it makes you think before attacking and to be more tactical. With three I can picture someone with a blunder, sniper and pistol all equiped at once.

    Already bad enough with two firing weapons being equipable in my opinion... Especially those with macros for quick switching.

    2 weapons means you have to pick and plan ahead.
    3+ means you can have a weapon for every occasion.

  • This would destroy the fight for anyone who isn't a double gunner.

  • @sairdontis4317 Having the limitation of equipping only two weapons is the only thing that balances the double gun. It only takes two shots to kill, currently with only two weapons the double gun is already a problem, being a long/medium distance combat makes this style an advantage against sword players who need to get close to be able to kill, only in sloop or closed environments do sword players change this disadvantage scenario.

    Giving the possibility of equipping 3 weapons will only make double gunners even stronger, being able to miss another shot without having to retreat, also being able to use a sword to block hits in places where sword players would have an advantage, besides being able to board incessantly with the grapple gun and being able to continue killing from long distance.

    Edit: The only balance of the grapple gun is also the limitation on the amount of weapons the player can carry, changing this would break the game's naval combat by making the board the main form of battle.

    Fair. Maybe make having two guns make you tire out or move slower ?

  • @sairdontis4317 I think the effort to balance this change would be so great that it's better not to do it.
