Please enable/support Third Person in Safe Seas.

    That's it, I enjoy this game solo and with friends, it'd add a level of exploration and adventure to be allowed to play in third person in Safer Seas and when Solo. I understand this is a FPS game, and the origins and PVP would change dramatically and "ruin" or change the game in many ways, so therefore I, and prob many others only want third person perspective for Safer Seas or a game mode that doesnt change the rest of the game.

    The game is not made to be viewed/played from a 3rd person perspective. The amount of changes, bug fixes and features this would ruin makes this likely to NEVER happen. And I have NEVER heard of anyone else wanting this feature, don't speak on behalf of others without proper information

    Thing is, they cant add a feature for one of the two. Both would get it.

    But still. That removes the whole "You are the pirate" you be now just a person controlling the pirate

    Immersion is a failed point when I can be immersed in a lot of 3rd person games and the world built around it.
    Point is SoT is defs not meant for 3rd person (Outside of emoting).

    If they limit your fov to 90 because they care so much about the games appearance, which by the way is a reasoning they bring up often each time the fov subject is brought up, oh boy. Good luck with the workload of making everything else 3rd person friendly...

    Nah, I think Safer Seas is in a perfect position right now. The only thing I would add to it is probably just Captaincy since Captaincy has nothing to do with PvP or Player Interactions. It's just a personal milestone system. Even then, Safer Seas is just in a good perfect position for what it is.
