This is an update on an old thread of mine. Its been 6 months since I made a similar post and wanted to give an update
I want to give credit where credit is due. Rare listened and I'm really grateful. Most of the hulls released after my thread have colored interior hulls among all ships. I do say most, as some newer hulls (like the Inner Sanctum and Cardinal Lodestar hull) do not have unique interior hull colors.
For example, the Iron Turtle hull gives the interior of ships a deep red color on the walls, whilst the floor is the same color as the deck above. This small amount of detail just adds so much more life into the ship and makes it feel more lived in.
And I want to give a big shout-out to the Radiant Comet hull. Not only is its interior colored, but the ceiling contains little white stars, which is such a nice touch that helps this ship stand out.
However Rare, I must ask more of you. Please make it so all ship hulls have their own unique interior colors. A lot of hulls in-game are so nice to use, but I hate having to walk downstairs and see a plain wooden interior. As I realize this would be a big task, perhaps do it in phases. Some of the more commonly used hulls could perhaps get this treatment first (like every swabbies favorite Wild Rose or Ashen Dragon hull), before going onto some of the least used hulls in this game (like the Forsaken Ashes hull, Mandrake hull, ect).
It would also be nice if some hulls had some extra small detailed added, like what you did with the Radiant Comet set and the stars on the ceiling. Some ideas come into mind;

Ashen/fiery hulls, like the Ashen Dragon, Barrel Bombardier and Burning Blade Reborn hulls having the same small glowing orange fiery textures on the inside, like how they are used on the exterior

The Pet Protector hull could have some various animal paw prints painted on the floor, giving it the look that some animals walked in paint before wandering around the lower decks...

The Prehistoric Plunderers hull having some small fossils drawn onto the wall

The Reapers Bones hull having skeleton runes below deck, like how the outside shows skeleton runes
side note, however the back corners of the sloop (left and right of the map table) are often not painted on some sloops which have interior hull colors. That's something you should keep an eye out for
